Hand pump jacket sand separator is designed to safe guard the India Mark-II hand pump from problem of sand pumping and wear and tear of the pump. The jacket is fabricated with 'V' wire technology following IS:8110/2000 with SS-304 material meeting AISI type grade.
A 'V' wire is spirally wound on a cage of longitudinal rods. Each intersection point is fusion welded. The bottom end of this is closed by flat Screen and the upper end is provided with a ring that can be securely screwed to the India Mark II hand pump cylinder.
