The packer screens are used in wells drilled with Odex and DTH methods where conventional screens can be lowered. The packer screen is fabricated with 'V' wire technology following IS: 8110/2000 with SS-304 material meeting AISI type grade. 'V' wire is spirally wound on a cage of longitudinal rods. Each intersection point is fusion welded. The bottom end of this is closed by a flat plate. The upper end of the screen is provided with welded self sealing packer.
