Pump guard jacket is designed to safe guard pump and motor from problem of sand pumping and wear and tear of the pump. The jacket is fabricated with 'V' wire technology following IS: 8110/2000 with SS-304 material meeting AISI type grade or Low Carbon Galvanized (LCG) material. A 'V' wire is spirally wound on a cage of longitudinal rods. Each intersection point is fusion welded... The bottom end of this is closed by a flat screen of the same slot size and the upper end is provided with a threaded ring and end cap for resting on the pump. Motor and pump is fitted inside the jacket
